Tuxedo Kitten: Mommy's Wee Little Black and White Kitty "Digby Joseph"

Cutest little Tuxedo kitten shared with us by Margaret. Check out these cute pictures of black and white kitten Digby and how at first this little kitten was mistaken for a girl kitten!!

Little Digby was made known to us by an ad "Tuxedo Kittens To Give Away". Apparently his pregnant mother stumbled upon a rural home approximately one hour from where we live. Initially, the people who took her in weren't aware of the pregnancy until some time later when they located her kittens. In the ad, these people pleaded for good homes for each of the little ones citing that their intent was to keep mom and bring her back to 100% health...which they did.

I picked little Digby because he so strongly resembled my precious 23 year old "Screech" that had passed away one month previous. I was devastated by her passing and I wasn't sure if getting a kitten was the right thing to do - so soon after her passing that is. I'm so glad I decided to get him! He certainly doesn't replace my ol' Screech but he certainly brings joy to my heart - and to his sister Tweety Ruth(she's eight years old).

He loves to play "peek-a-boo" with me. He prefers that I hide behind doorways, around corners, etc. and whisper "whereeeeee's Digby?" to him. He'll then chirp and nod his head emphatically in anticipation of being chased. He actually prefers that I run so he can chase me!

Don't ask me why but, initially, I thought Dig was a little girl. It wasn't until a about week later that I noticed "a couple of things". Turns out my little guy was not a little girl! That's quite alright. We love him to bits...that's why he gets away with far too much (way too much). He's a good little brother to "Tweety Ruth". He keeps her active and healthy. Sometimes, I'm sure, he really annoys her..but I do know one thing, they love to cuddle (when know one's watching of course). I believe she was missing Screech too.
